Yeah, I think he'd do fine against Yoshida or Fujita (although Fujita has this uncanny ability to use the X factor and win when he is supposed to lose)

Yoshida almost beat him the second time, it was a very close fight. Had it not been for the yellow card, I think Yoshida might have gotten the decision. Yoshida probably wouldn't win though. Regardless, we have seen Wanderlei fail to finish Yoshida on two occasions.

I think Mirko would probably KO Wanderlei in a rematch, just my opinion (and I am most definitly the furthest thing from a Mirko fan) and a fight with Werdum would be interesting. I don't know what would happen in that match.

Barnett, Hunt, and Nogueira? For sure.

So Wanderlei might not be the ultimate underdog in this tourney, but he definitly is in the bottom half of the field as far as being likely to pull it off.
