This thing has been bothering me for quite some time now.

Am i the only one who is seeing new improvements in rampage's stand up in his last two fights?

The man said it himself that he's ashamed of the way he fought against chuck and that his standup skills are better now. because he didnt KTFO yoon dong sik doesnt mean he's washed up. I saw some improvements in speed and in his punches.

People on sherdog are saying that lindland is probably gonna lay and pray him to a decision..

Can somebody please elaborate on how lindland is possibly gonna take him down where Randleman and Arona both failed?

Cause they are crazy

He fought Shogun Ninja and an Asian fighter and because he did not run through them.... they think he's done

Its been a while since Ive seen Rampage vs Arona but I was under the impression that Arona didn't take Rampage down because Arona was landing leg kicks all day. The takedown defence against Randleman was impressive though.

I think that Lindland will take Jackson down because he is one of the best wrestlers in the world. Sprawling won't help against him. But, I don't think it will be a lay n pray, I think Lindland will stop Rampage.

How will he stop rampage? Guillotine choke? Strikes?

Rampage got stopped by silva and shogun waaaay more powerful then lindland..

And rampage's abillity to pop his head out of guillotine's is amazing.

They think so because he lost to two top 5 LHW's and found Jesus.

Yeah, I know, that's stupid. WAR RAMPAGE!!!~~~

He got knocked out 3 times in his last 8 fights. He got beaten till the headbuttslam against Arona. He lost the fight against Ninja.
He beat a much lighter Minowa, a prowrestler who did decent against Nogueira and struggled big time against Yoon don Sik.

He isn't washed up. I think it took a while for his head to clear physically and mentally after Wand sent him to Jesus but he announced his return when he brutalized Yokoi.

Dong Sik has come along way so just cause Rampage didn't end his life means nothing. He is still a great fighter. Taking out guys like Chuck and Arona was pretty recent so let's not jump ship on the guy.

Lindland is getting better and usually impressive too, so this is a great test for both...the loser is not going to be a washed up bum, contrary to what we will read the day after the fight.

Rampage isn't washed up, BUT I think he lost some of his fighting spirit after his gruesome defeat by Wand the second time.

You do realize Arona dropped about 3 meters (or roughly nine feet) onto the back of his head?

If you don't think that would KO you, and that it would need a headbutt to do the job, then I want you to stand on your roof and drop backwards onto your head and see what happens.

The fight with Ninja was close? Do you really think so?

I thought the fight with Ninja was REALLY close.
It could have gone either way.

If you watch it twice and blink at different times you might pick a different winner.
Still, Jackson got the decision, and not because PRIDE wanted him to, but because he earned it.

God wanted Jackson to win - and only God - therefore he won. Anybody else would probably have picked Ninja as the winner.

Does anybody else include two of the PRIDE judges, because they picked him.

Grant Ellis laying the fuckin smackdown in here. Let me powerbomb you Flibb and lets see what happens. then after you wake up we can do it again and this time i will headbutt you just to show you that there is a difference, but only in pain and blood. they both gonna KO your ass. as for Rampage losing to Ninja, loosen up. he was chosen the victor in a very close fight. he won that fight. the judges picked him the winner. stfu. pick apart every aspect of the fight if you want to edge it to one or the other, fact is, the PRIDE judges edged it to Rampage. Ninja is not a slouch. does it really suprise anybody that it came down to THAT close of a decision? im not.

as for this fight... Rampage by TKO or Lindland by sub. shouldnt go the distance. brutal ko or cheesy sub in the process of a brutal ko.

Yes I don't think Lindland will sub Rampage, I'm picking referee stoppage from dropping the elbows. I want Lindland to win but really this is a very tough matchup for him with a big weight disadvantage.

Do you realize Rampage probably never looked so bad in a fight before? He ate several lowkicks standing and had no real defence and got almost submitted by Ricardo "2-0 is enough" Arona?

Where is the old Rampage (a la Belfort) anyone? Rampage washed up? C'mon.

Quinton was beating Silva in their second fight, eventually the referee would stand 'em up even if Rampage was active, give a yellow card to Silva... and then a tired Rampage gets KTFO'ed. The other bad loss was to Shogun, that's about it. The Ninja fight was close, but rewatching it i have no doubts in my mind that Rampage won that fight. Yokoi got his ass kicked bad and Yoon too but he was able to survive and do much better than in his previous fights. Chuck got his ass kicked big time, and Arona well...

Rampage will knock the shit out of Lindland it will be brutal!

I was moderated-own3d!

I don't think I wrote anything breaking the rules, no biggie though.
