yesterdays news:
According to Slaven Vujic (croatian mma-promotor and member of Cro Cop Team); Mirko is 100% determined to the goal and focused on trainings and he put everything else on a side: - "I'm going there with one and only goal – to take the Pride FC OWGP belt, and I'll do anything for reaching my goal."

Today edition of "Večernji list":
"Cro Cop doubtful for the OWGP quarterfinals"

That's what Mirko should have done much earlier. You can't fight at top level, be a member of the Croation parliament, play football and making movies at the same time.

It annoys me sometimes that fighters do all kind of different things besides their fighting carreer. Making movies can also wait after your fighting carreer, so as being a member of a parliament etc.

Furthermore the article mentioned that Crocop is not satisfied with his ankle recovery process and if there was no GP this year he would be out till the end of this year.

It is a contradiction, first he says I'm training super hard and am determined to win the OWGP, and then he complains about his ankle.

It seems like he is build a safety measure in, if I don't win the OWGP, it's because of my ankle.

I can't imagine the next round of the GP being complete without Mirko.

Please bring in Silva (or Shogun) if Cro-cop can't continue (or bring back Alistair!)

Well as much as your picks are good... I only have one name that SHOULD be there.

Sergei Kharitonov

my silly guess that mirko is just building his case for asking more money than usual from DSE....

You are right, he would actually be the very best choice.

Mirko sounds focused, but it is about the action. I can't wait to see what happins in the OWGP.

I also can't nock him for doing movies and stuff. You have to make as much as you can before your day is done. It is simply business smart to venture into these things and I can't get mad at a guy for doing it. But I am glad he is back to 100% fighting and look forward to him fulfilling his potential.

In his interview Mirko said, he prepares for GP, no movies and stuff.
+ Today Slaven confirmed his participation in GP on Nokaut.com!
You WILL see Mirko in next round of GP!
Greetings...
