From reading the thread at Sherdog -- well, the first 1/2 page, -- I got the impression Silva had everyone scared and Coleman begging for mercy stuttering out "I'm sorry!" Then, I watched the video and nobody really cared about Silva.

Coleman is a professional fighter. Do people seriously think he was scared of Silva?! Would he have stepped into a ring against a much more touted Shogun if that was the case?!
Coleman was the man for apologizing even though he did NOTHING wrong. WTF is wrong with CB?!

1. Rudimar refused coleman's apology saying he kept punching 'boom boom boom'. Which fight was he watching?! Coleman did not land ONE punch after the ref stopped it.
2. WTF was Ninja doing in the ring after the fight was over?!
3. Wandy attacked Coleman, not the other way around
4. Ninja sucker punched Coleman, not the other way around.

CB can seriously go shove it.

I think a lot of people are just blowing this out of proportion and context.

If you consider the incident in the Gomi-fight earlier that year, it is understandable that CB were not looking for it to happen again. Then seeing a freak injury happen to your teammate and brother from a few feet away tends to affect emotions. This added to the fact that Coleman was acting weird right next to Shogun in the ring, I can understand why they would storm in.

What happened backstage was just big egos clashing when emotions were still high. A few words were exchanged, but nobody got hurt, so I really think the whole incident is not worth bringing up. How many times have you said something idiotic when you where still furious or angry? I know I have embarrassed myself so many times that I can only thank god that my family and friends have a shorter memory than some of you forum users.

CB is always jumping in the ring for one thing or another. Sometimes that stuff is good for ratings ...... but it can also make the sport look more like no-rules street fighting.

But to be honest with you, that Coleman interview after the altercation, was the funniest damn thing I've ever seen in MMA.
