Yeah, he's also the Shooto Pacific Rim Champ for that weight class. Hopefully we get some Joachim Hansen up in the mix as well. I'd like to see some more flailing limbs on the card.

Ishida is on the verge of making big waves in Bushido.
IMO they can use Kawajiri and Ishida to really promote the brand because a) they've got the skillz and b) they look marketable.
I think DSE hinted at this when they put Kawajiri on the front of the Bushido 7(?) cover, despite it being something like only his second fight in Pride.
They need to use Mach as a kind of stepping stone for Gomi I think. If you can beat him then you get a shot. Aurelio has an overdue date with him.
I don't know why I dislike Maximus so much. Ever since he won the ZST GP I can't look at his smug little face. I know it sounds bizarrely personal but he is just hard to look at, in my mind. He always looks so happy with himself. Plus, his celebrations contain less humility than Gary Goodridge's.

Ishida looked phenomenally fast and powerful. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him.

I understand that. I have similar feelings about Frank Mir, Fabricio Werdum and Nino Schembri.
Well, actually I know exactly why I can't cope with schembri but you get the idea...
