Alistair will replace Randleman, the deal should be signed soon according to the article.
Pretty good fight in my opinion, the weight limit is 210 pounds.

Thoughts on this fight guys?

Was just about to post this.

I have mixed feelings here. While I thought Randleman-Belfort had the potential to be either great or awful I wasn't sure who would win.

Now, with Overeem I'd take him as a big favourite over Belfort. This should be a better fight but I have much less doubt about the outcome.

Its a quality fight and from what I read earlier today, Strike Force tickets are going VERY well even before this and it should be another strong show.

210 pounds seems a fair cut-off point for both guys as well.

I must say, this doesn't hold too much interest for me considering how dominant Overeem was last time, and how it was only about a year ago. Also with Overeem looking good at HW I don't like the idea of him dropping back down again.

I'd like to see Vitor get a win in this one. BUt I must admit, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Overeem win it with a guillotine again.

I think the Vitor vs Randleman match would have been a better fight. Hope to see those 2 go at it in the future.

Yeah I was hoping Overeem would stay at HW. This is a good opportunity for Belfort to get ranked and back into the Pride/UFC mix... but I think Overeem will win it again.

I find it really interesting that Strikeforce(which I dont know anything about?) was abled to get Randleman/Belfort and then replace an injured Randleman with Overeem.. they must be doing something right. This fight could easily shift the Top 10 205lbs world rankings(even though its at 210 =))..

I just noticed that Eugene Jackson is fighting on the card!

I haven't seen him fight in ages. Wish him luck.

I thought so before, but now with all the news about them finding Vitors sis' killers and how it has to effect him, this is Alisters fight to lose. Unless Vitor can chanel some serious rage I see Overeem via KO or ref stoppage.

I hadn't heard any updates on his sister such as this. Could you explain further?

I read somewhere earlier in the week the police arrested a group of something like 8 guys that they are saying they believe are responsible for the death of his sister and some other drug related murders (no, his sister was not mentioned as being drug related).

I dont like the fact that they are bringing yet another guy for Cung Le to beat, who he has already defeated. I understand that he is new to the sport and they want to build him correctly, but still we cannot say anything about his MMA-level until he fights a MMA-fighter.

I still can't figure out why people talk about this Cung Lee dude all the time. Why is he famous??

As for Overeem v Belfort, Overeem should win it but really has nothing to gain here and only something to lose. Careerwise I mean.

Big name in San Shou and a major ticket seller in San Jose. His presence on the show is WAY more important than Belfort's or Overeem's.

MMA debut at Strikeforce 1 in March. Couldn't tell much about his overall skills but he's fast and VERY exciting. Throws millions of flashy kicks.

He is fighting an mma fighter. Last time Brian Warren fought under San Shou rules, which he wasn't accustomed too.

Yes... gotta leave pretty soon. Do you live close by? Just asking because it sounded like you saw the event.
