I was really pleased to see Junior get the win. He is a really nice guy and he is dead easy to work with backstage. He is also REALLY popular at Cage Warriors with casual and hardcore fans as well as kids. He really loved the attention and he would pose for pictures with fans and kids.

Was also pleased to see Junior with his Cage Warriors Super Heavyweight Title out there in Japan

Not so pleased to see K-1 using our footage without our permission. Anyone got a decent English speaking contact for k-1 Japan/Heros?

I wouldn't worry about him fighting Fedor anytime soon (and anyone who suggests that is a fool) since I get the feeling both sides (Hero's and Pride) won't exactly be working together anytime soon.

Unless of course Sakuraba's jump is just the first part of an interpromotional angle and KID goes to Pride and things go crazy from there (oh shit, am getting WAY overexcited again).

For the record, i personally don't care and think its great that k-1 showed action from our show and even better that our Title was shown in shot. But i got moaned at by one of the CW bosses who asked me why k-1 showed our footage and when i told them "well you did put it on our website" i got moaned at some more.

I have much better footage of Junior that we have sent. Maybe the wolfslair said they could use that footage, but i asked my main 2 bosses today and they didn't say it could be used.

I don't want to kick off about it but when Pride wnated footage of Zuluzinho from CW Strike Force 2, we had to go and sign loads of forms

Beating Erickson today, I don't think it's "all that". But regardless he won big and finished him in the first round. He looked 100x times more impressive then Zuluzhino.

It's just good to see CR out there on the BIG, BIG stage representing. Regardless of what you think of Tom, the way you make a name is to beat fighters who have/had a name, and Tom certainly does.

His record looks exciting, but the fight against Erickson wasnt as convincing as the mark on his record will be. I mean he ate a few jabs, and then the takedown was...well, that wouldnt have happened a few years ago.

The guy obviously has enourmous potential, but needs to be build and trained up.

Silva says in the clip that he is as strong as a gorilla... Thus the image of the gorilla... Simple stuff...

This time, Silva does say he's as strong as a gorilla... The regular viewers catch on to Silva or Sapp not because of their skill or whatever... Just cause they're big, strong, and look unusual in Japan... thus a gorilla analogy works fine in Japan... Plus, Gorillas are cool~. Speaking of animals, some fighters have animal themese... Arona = tiger, Masato = Wolf... And many others don't have one... I guess Wand is like an angry gorilla... in a good, scary way... Imageries help situate fighters... No biggy...

Back to topic. Yes, Silva was impressive in the way he just over powered Erikson. Although old, Erikson has decent power... and Silva made him look so weak... That said, if a fighter has enough power to get out of his mount, then I think Silva can be defeated... I look forward to Silva getting matched to someone like Kharitonov... Or even Shogun... Alistair... Werdum... get him tested big time...
