Gus Rosenburg: Wesley! Great to see you man. Glad you could make it in today.

Snipes: Same here Gus. It’s been crazy the last few months. You know what I’m sayin’?

Rosenburg: Yes, yes I do. I hear things have been very busy for you with filming your two latest films – “The Detonator” and “Hard Luck”. How is that going?

Snipes: It’s been going. Both films will be released in mid to late fall. The story lines on both are solid and this is why I found both to be a great opportunity. I anticipate on them both being a success. As for me, I’m jumping from set to set, 15 hour days. I’m taking a beating ya’ know….but I enjoy doing what I do. This is what I do.

rest is here www.boxinginsider.com

Good question. I pulled this interview from somewhere else. It could be completely fabricated for all we know. Still entertaining.

I can repost the entire interview if you'd like.

Rosenburg: That’s great, but let’s get onto business. Besides your usual line work, and given the amount of long hours you put in every week, how has the training going?

Snipes: Don’t be fooled Gus. I never let my work interfere with my training. I train a solid 3 hours a day, 5 maybe 6 days a week depending on the week. I’m training with some top guys who are pushing me to the limit. I have been making much progress on both my standup and my ground game.

Rosenburg: Who are you training with nowadays?

Snipes: Larry Lisbee, Johnny Lats, some of the guys from Matt Serra’s school over in Long Island. I have some guys from the Gracie camp helping me with my ground game and guys like Nunzio Dibella and Dan “The Beast” Severn helping me with my standup.
The crew I have been training with overall is phenomenal. I got to give it to them.

Rosenburg: What’s next? And you know what I’m getting at Wesley. Lots of talk about beef between you and Fear Factor’s Joe Rogan. He has called you out on numerous occasions during UFC pay per view events. What’s the real story? Why all the hostility man?

Snipes: Me and Joe have had a history. He runs his mouth time and time again. Somebody should get the boy a muzzle.

Roseburg: We all heard the pay-per-views, we know there is a legacy between you two. When are the fans going to see this happen? Are you going to make this fight happen? Tell me.

Snipes: I cannot get into details at this time….but things are in the works. That is all I can really say. People are talking for a reason, and let’s just leave it at that.

Rosenburg: Do you have what it takes to beat Joe Rogan? I mean the guy is also training heavy with top athletes with a lot of experience. He is in great shape too. He is as just as ripped as you are Wesley. .

Snipes: “Do I have what it takes to beat Joe Rogan”???? C’mon now Gus. The man is a joke and he does not have the balls to fight me. I’m Wesley Snipes. If the opportunity presents itself and it comes time for him to sign on the dotted line, he will not do it. I will guarantee that Gus. He’s a little white bitch with no skill…whatsoever. I would finish the fight by pure KO or I will choke him unconscious. You can put that in writing Gus. People may be fooled because I’m an actor. The truth is that I am rich and I don’t need this fight. I love to kick ass. I would whoop Rogan’s ass for nothing, free of charge.

Rosenburg: Oh boy. Well, it looks like the fans have a lot to look forward to. It was great for you to stop by. I guess we know where all of this stands. Good luck on your two new films and keep up the training. We all hope to see you soon, in the octagon, or wherever that may be.

Wesley Snipes was one of my favourite Afro-American actors, but his comments 'little white bitch' annoys me pretty much. Just like oyo said, suppose that Rogan or another white male shouted something like "little black b*tch" or the the N-word.

Then the white male is a racist but if a black male says such things, it becomes "cool" all of a sudden. I don't get that??

Maybe Wesley Snipes didn't mean it, but why did he say it then?

What does that suppose to mean? Mr. Snipes is a well known celebrity he should not use such language. I don't care how he calls Roman, it annoys me that a black man can say such things without a media hype being made of it and a white man cannot.

We have similar things here in Holland, that "members of an ethnic community" call us cheeseheads and all kinds of insulting words, and if indegious people say something comparable they get cursed or even sentenced to jail.

See my point?

It doesn't matter that one belongs to a majority or a minority. Racism is wrong.

If they actually fight, I think Snipes would get embarassed. I don't really care for either of them, but Snipes was in Major League and Blade II so in theory I'd prefer he win.

I see your point. But you couldn't see mine even if I explained it to you.....Then, with all due respect, you shouldn't have brought it up by making a statement like the one you made unless you could (or even were a little bit willing to) explain it for people to see. Peace.

If some guy about 20 years ago beat up your sister real real bad and then did some time in jail for it. 20 years later you seen this person and there family waling in a park or somthing would there be some animosity towards him and his family ??????? The viewpoint of being "indegious" wouldn't give you insight on how some people think and feel..........

Titan or anyone else understand what im sayin then good....

If it's still a mystery to what im sayin then I don't knwo any other way to talk about it.... Other than experience.........

That because you didn't explained it, you only wrote one sentence and I did not understand what you meant:)

I guess you mean this. If a person with a certain racial background did something to you or a relative, you think that all people of that certain racial background are the same? (stereotypes)

Is that what you mean?

Wolves, please be a little bit more specific.

Hallelujah Shinbone! You're a good person. I'll try not to change the topic of this thread but I feel the itch to offer a quick viewpoint and a few examples.

All of have stereotyping, no matter how open minded we are; once again consciously or sub-consciously. You will tend to be protective of your own 'kind', whatever the hell that is. It could be your city, your 'race', your religion, your family...blah dee blah

Also in general, all of us are governed by the urge to make something for nothing...consciously or sub-consciously. Add to that if there is an excuse for making a demand, the demand will usually be made. All more likely if there is a mob mentality behind it. And relenting to the excuse usually leads to a runaway effect.

This should really explain many things; historical significance of the Japanese colonialism will always force China and Korea to make demands on Japan, whether or not it is justified, whether or not the average Chinese or Korean cares and despite the fact it happened long ago and the aggressors are long dead and gone. Similarly due to the unfortunate nature of the history of people of African origin, there is a 'Black Pride day'. The runaway effect has caused the 'cheesehead' scenario. What is REALLY sad is that most of this has been almost always politically motivated by misguided or extremely selfish individuals

These are reasons why Indonesians will now demonstrate, often violently, if a new president does not create a 'Utopia' right away despite being ruled for over 30 years under the iron hand of Suharto without a peep. They know that violent demonstrations will topple leaderships.

We've been taught that bigotry is wrong, but this shift to 100% tolerance and accomodation is not without its own set of problems. But unfortunately no matter WHAT the topic is (example, ArtOfWar is really handsome), you'll always end up with people on either side and there begins 'us' and 'them'. But in its own way, it promotes differences in thinking and therefore advancement. Very human nature; probably no solution; just merits and demerits depending on how practical or politically correct the person is. We should probably set Fielding Mellish on this issue to see if he can solve it :P

Back to the thread though; I really hope that was not Snipes, I've been a major fan of his since Major League and Passenger 57. even met him once on the set of 'Kung-Fu' TV series and he was a great guy (although not a superstar yet)

I`d personally want to kick his ass.

I would have no animosity towards his family though.....I`d perhaps pitty them for being with him and for possibly not knowing who he really is.

I would also not hold animosity towards his entire race just because he is a fuckhead either. Hell, if that were the case I doubt I`d be to Japan (where I have been a repeat victim of racism).....but I can tell the difference between the uneducated yet noisy few, compared with the bulk of a nation.
