Im having school exams right now so i got no time for weight or bjj training. Thats not a problem because i had weeks of 4 times bjj and 3 times weights. Some weeks off for muscle growing and relaxing are ok imo.
I have just no courage at all to get into bjj training again. I know im close under the blue belt level but i don't care about getting promoted. I have no new moves i want to try like i had after watching Nino Schembris Omoplata instuctionals. In my last sessions i was fooling with my training partners, made mistakes i usually never do and didn't stick to my bread and butter moves. My condition seems to get worse too, maybe because of frustation.
After the exams i will have alot more time to train again because school will be relaxed. So, for all those who read till here, heres my question:
How can i get excited for bjj class again?

I never thought I'd be posting in this part of the forum, but my advice is to just not even really try until your exams are over.
I reckon once they're off your mind you'll rediscover that BJJ motivation without too many problems.
It could be as easy as that.

Not even greatest champions could pass this thing - breaking a bit with training when something else important occurrs in their life. Matter of fact it is a part of a great champions ability to know how to prioritize things, many talented guys are actually into overdoing it physically without being aware that this means actually not being ok with a tough training schedule but being insecure that a regular training session would do pretty much the same. This year in my team the best results have happened with a boy who actually cannot attend all the time the trainings and comes only when he has a fight booked. He kinda told me he knows so well his schedule does not allow too much time so he comes very focused on not losing the smallest detail. Human motivation has many back and forth stuff. Now just do not fall in the other extreme - being a well focused couch potato does not help either LOL

How did you know I would be reading this?
Good to hear that things worked out for you Flibb. Are you still enjoying the training again?

Yeah too bad we have just trianing once a week now. Im always surprised how good my wrestling is. I think i suck standing but my shoot is quite good for somebody who never wrestled in his life. Good enough to take my training partners down and almost never get taken down by them.

I kinda lost my courage after 3 losses in kickboxing
But now, I'll just train for a solid amount of time
