News Alerts

You know how Yahoo! and other major sites that deal with news have those alerts where you can tick the stuff you're interested in, and then they send you e-mail whenever there's a new story on whatever it was you ticked?

Like for example, a lot of the times I see options such as George Bush, Palestine, Middle East, etc./whatever, and you just tick the boxes and they send you e-mail alerts whenever something related to those topics come up.

I was thinking that if it were possible, you could do something like that here. I know you already have that with events (event calendar), but I was thinking more along the lines of threads containing news for whatever subject we might be interested in. I would definitely subscribe to Masato/K-1 MAX news.

We're a bit too small to undertake something like that at the moment, but it is a good idea that we'll log. It'd apply primarily to the main site in that case because the forum does not have a system that supports something like that. Not sure whether the main site does either, but once we get bigger and a bit more organized with time on our hands, we shall look into it. No idea at all yet when that might be. Not in the near future unfortunately -- we've not even gotten our banner software up and running. :-)
