Sento has little more than a swinger landing plum on the mark chance. If Gardner gets the clinch, he'll put Sento on his back where he'll more than likely be as effective as a turtle.

Actually, this thread may become more interesting after the NYE show. Considering this is Garder's debut. After we see how he does against Yoshida we'll know more.

I'm not convinced either way yet about Gardner. I am sure he'll be very effective at tying up and getting the takedown/slam, I just wonder what he can do from there.

Whats his striking like? Couldn't be much better than Yoshida when he fought Silva...

Hows he handle getting punched in the face...

Will he remember the gnp....

Does he have any sub defense othe than pure strength ( which Hunt also has quite a bit of ).....

Too many unknown facts to really say how well he'll do, but my fingers are crossed for a competative, exciting match. If he looks good, he may well go far.

If Wandy came up in weight, I'd like to see him fight Sergei. Sergei has really showcased his skills. His performance in the HWGP was simply amazing. When he KO'd ninja some of us sat up and took notice. When he beat Semmy to a bloody pulp, we all said "shit, this dude is pretty f'n bad".In his loss to Nog he showed that he deserved to be in that ring with the best.

We all know Wandy is an axe murderer. Could Sergei be the one that buries the hatchet on Silva's winning streak?
