When I first called this fight (4th Quarter, 2003) I had Barnett winning it, but the more time that passes the more I have to pick Mirko Cro-cop.

He improves so much with each fight, whereas Barnett has not shown me anything new in his latest outings in the past two years. (Though he has been impressive in his own right. Ambriz is no slouch, Takahashi is a vet, and Yuki Kondo is a super hero.)

I am not discrediting Barnett at all, he could very well take it, but I have a feeling it will be Mirko by KO in the first round.

But I feel pretty confident in Mirko. He is in great form and is 100% ready for the fight. He knows he is one fight away from a title fight against Fedor, so I'm expecting Mirko's best fight ever. Mirko by TKO in RD1!

Barnett needs to take it to the ground really really quick and armbar Mirko just like he did to Sem (twice!). Standing up with Mirko is suicide unles you have a hook like Randleman.
