Was wondering who people think will be the next signings for k-1 in their areas, Mine is Oceania and am thinking maybe Graham if things are sorted, Suttie, I also like the look of Pola matae( spelling sorry). He would be a few years yet though.

I had brunch with Pola and the gang during the Eliminations in October. He is one seriously imposing guy who while I`ve never seen fight, looks like he`ll do very well in K-1.

When i went to train at the Sefo fight academy Pola was there. He gaves the evil eyes the second we came in haha.

while I`ve never seen fight, looks like he`ll do very well in K-1.

Since his first kickboxing match at the battle of the Anzacs where he knocked the sense out of some Australian guy he has been beating his opponents very convincingly. He has a solid boxing style and has adjusted well to kicking. In his second fight at the Kings of Oceania he won that fight also very convincingly on a decision against a more experienced kicker. But in these two fights he was still rather passive and many times missed good opportunities to just mawl his opponent (think of Ignashov vs Kaoklai). Since then howerver he has stepped up tremendously and totally dominated his opponent at the recent K1 MAX Oceania. Hes starting to become very aggressive and coupled with his size and skill he is doing very well. Im keen to see him fight again.

Hope that helped incase you didnt know already.

My area, The Netherlands off course has Badr Hari but we know him already. When you talk Europe in general, I'd like Gary Turner to do well.

I hope it's no disrespect to any other fighter in the UK but the one that comes closest to hanging with some of the K1 guys is Gary Turner, in Europe - that's one BIG area to cover. I would like to see Hari against some other fighters in K1.

I am in North America, and I dont think there are
any rising stars that will burst into K-1 here.
I know they did the tryouts last year, so who
knows if that will result in anything.

We need some of the great fighters from the mid 90's
to turn into trainers. Who wouldn't want to see a
young fighter molded by Sam Greko for example??
