First Sub Grappling Tournament

I have a few questions like what should i expect? Any specific training tips? Any hints or something?

Sub grappling ....so it will be no-gi. Will people be allowed to wear rash guards? What rules do the tournement have? I would say be in great shape. Push people.....when they want to rest just go for sub after sub. Agression is a very important thing to have in a tourney. People will prob try to point you. Then when they have a good amount of points hold you down. So just be agressive but try and stay calm.....

Have a good cornerman(ie your instructor or someone who knows grappling).

Go out there and take control immediately.

Don't get caught up in others' matches/concentrate on yourself.

Warm up well. Eat and rest up well before your tourney.

Don't worry about jitters, they're good to have.

You should be prepared well before you step on the mat. Have confidence in your training. Go so hard in training that you KNOW that whoever you will fight won't have the capacity to gas you out.

Hey guys i have great news!
Ive won my weight division (till 73,6kg) and im 2-0-1 in submission grappling.
My opponents were all luta livre guys and i hope i honoured BJJ with my performance especially with my guard.
I won my first fight via triangle in 2:07 and my second via decision (10+5 min) but it was total ownage i was most of the time in his back.
The final fight was the fight of the evening even though i think i did enough to win the fight it was called a draw because it was close fight.Pics + Clips will follow thanks again :D
