"Champions" Press Conference

Remy just completed a press conference as the 2 time champ. Unfortunately I was in the bathroom throwing my guts up for a good part of it, but what I hear.

He joked he wants to be the ten time champ, and said he thinks it is possible to beat Hoosts record.

When told about Hoosts feeling about the fight ( felt he didn`t lose ) and asked if he`d give him a rematch, he said of course he would, he wouldn`t mind at all and can understand Hoosts feeling with him heading towards retirement and all......but that he was sure Hoost wont like the outcome of the rematch.

Asked who he wants to fight he said there was no one particular, but "anyone anytime anywhere" an that he`d fight whoever K-1 put him up against.

Asked if he`d be in Dynamite he smiled at Tanikawa and said right now he has no plans to fight tere, but it depends on if there is an offer.

Asked about the various records he broke last night (longets ring time for GP winner/deut winner going back to back, same finalists etc)....he said if there is a record out there he wants to break it as that is how legends are made......

Sweet thanks for the info oYo. Thats cool how they inscribe the persons name in the Belt, and I really hope that rematch with Hoost happens before Ernesto retires(I want to see Remy fight Iggy to) Im still trying to get over last night though, man that was an intresting night.

It was. It was funny....he kept throwing the left high and right low and at the end I thought he`d lost and was screaming...RIGHT HIGH,THROW THE FUCKING RIGHT HIGH...and a second later BANG. lol

Filho is with Ichigeki which is kinda partnered with K-1, so I can`t see why not. It`d need to be a 5 rounder though if they were to go again. As a few mentioned this time round....3 round Superfights are kinda weird.

Im happy Remy won, i like him as a fighter and hes a good role model for K-1.

Not sure mate...could have been the judging I guess. lol

I woke up with a headache from hel, thought I`d eat something, take some pain killers and sleep it off.....didn`t work and food and painkillers came right back. Went to the Remy conference feeling like shit....5 minutes in the telltale signs started and I had to do a runner. After that, I felt about 2% better though and stayed until the end. Maybe a migrane I guess.....but I dunno.

Hot, dehydrated, stuck in a small room full of smoke, and several hours looking hard though a view finder added up to feeling like crap. Strangely I felt similar ( though not as bad ) after Eliminations.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand....lol

Looking at that pic of Remy being tough with his shirt pulled up and then looking at him smiling with a peace sign makes me chuckle!

LOL....I was barely on all weekend. Getting some pix up though took time with damned remote connections. THEY suck.

Anyway, it is over...work to do on pix and editing articles but thats all fun relaxing stuff.

I want to see Remy fight Iggy

interestingly those two have faced each other already 3 times, but before they got into K-1!!!!

Remy won 2 of those encounters, losing one to Ignashov. All 3 fights ended in decisions

but as long Ias gnashov doesnt get into the body-shape he was at the GP in Paris03 or in his fight against bernardo that year, i think the fight wouldnt live up to the hype there is made...
