Yeah, I heard leBanner beat the guy in the first after 3 downs. who was the guy and was he even worthy of fighting leBanner? or like one of the other post fight guys until he fought Botha?

I finally found it. Samir Mohamed defeated Kamel Jamel by decision. It was a controversial decision.

I was thinking the same thing. I havn't even seen the fight but I thought that if it was close at all, it would go to the undefeated guy.
I am happy that Lebanner decided to fight. He seemed like he was tired in that interview and that he didn't really want to fight. He is my favorite to win the WGP this year.

Samir needs to make his way to the Max already.

Do u really think he has a chance in the Max considering his weight ?

Samir wont even tangle with real Thais under their rules. He picks his rules very carefully.
Just imagine if he had fought Skarbowsky with knees.
Homicide.

Like I said on IL (this is staves by the way) it wasn't even competitive, a very young and inexperienced seeming heavyweight thrown to one of the biggest wolves out there. He got knocked down in something like the first minute of the fight, and ended up getting TKOed in the first.
The other 2 superfights were good though, the Samir vs Jamel fight was very good, I agreed with the decision at the time but was somewhat drunk so I'll have to try to see a replay.

I love Samir and I think he proved against Jamel that he is a top class fighter , he needs to put some weight and I want to see him at superleague and K-1 max
this guy will entertain everyone , I couldnt see any boring fight of Samir

I couldn't agree more. He would be great for K-1 and it would add ligitamacy to that flawless record of two great wins and 100 bumb fights. He is very entertaining and he needs to stop hiding behind those kickboxing rules and fight the best in the world, who all fight with knees.

Does anyone know where I can see the Kamel/Samir fight? Word of mouth has got me confused and I need to see the fight for myself.
