Almost everybody gets nervous. It's natural and it's what keeps your mind sharp. Provided that you're physically prepared at the time of the fight, just make sure you manage to zone out and fully concentrate on your task at hand in good time. Here's some quotes by Cus D'Amato:
A fighter has to know fear.
The hero and the coward both feel the same thing (fear), but the hero uses his fear, projects it onto his opponent, while the coward runs. It's the same thing, fear, but it's what you do with it that matters.
I can't find Cus D'Amato's exact quote, but this is Mike Tyson paraphrasing him:
Fear is your best friend or your worst enemy. It's like fire. If you can control it, it can cook for you; it can heat your house. If you can't control it, it will burn everything around you and destroy you. If you can control your fear, it makes you more alert, like a deer coming across the lawn
Here's another one by Tyson:
I'm scared every time I go into the ring, but it's how you handle it. What you have to do is plant your feet, bite down on your mouthpiece and say, 'Let's go.'"

Don't get emotional in ring, stay relaxed and loose..
Try to relax before match, listening to music, making jokes, playing cards.
Train hard, but 7-10 days before match don't train hard as hell, just some light sparring..
Your body needs to recouperate...
And believe that you are the best, bring that i don't give a fuck about you in ring..
And my final advice.. Beat him up!!
I hope i helped :)

Sorry to seem like I'm crying wolf, but my opponent pulled out.(I don't know why) Also, my team mate who was supposed to fight a Muay Thai match had his opponent pull out as well.
I am frustrated, but I guess that's just part of the fight game. We're looking at some cards next month.
