Just had a chat to Wayne Parr who told me that the flooding has not reached their house and Jasmine and Angie are alright. The infamous Boonchu Gym has been affected though and Wayne said that there is about a foot of water in the gym but Wayne was positive as always and very happy that his two lovely girls are both well and unaffected.
At the last Xplosion show we all know that a big mistake was made when collecting the score cards and announcing the result. Angie was not awarded the win even though everybody including the referees knew she won.
The Muaythai sanctioning body with the most credibility was in danger of being KO’ed but today WMC International Coordinator Stephan Fox contacted Wayne to inform him that the result has been rectified and Angie is now the official winner. In my own opinion the WMC has one more time proved to be the one and only when it comes to professional Muaythai and Stephan Fox has once again played a key role in a very important decission.
Now back to the Gun Slinger himself. Wayne is training harder than ever as he has the Max finals coming up AND the WBC fight against Japanes Kozo soon after. The latter fight has now been changed to ”just” a fight and not a fight for the green championship belt. According to Wayne Parr himself the fight will be under modified rules – i.e. without elbows.
That’s all folks.
