TITANS 2nd was announced in a magazine today. I believe the date was August 22nd, and the headliner was announced as JWP vs Kozo once again. Lets hope it comes off this time!

Great! This should be an interesting matchup. Could go either way, but I think JWP will win. His defense will neutralize most of Kozos weapons.

Just a month after winning the MAX title he os off fighting Kozo for another? Gotta respect a man like that.

Great News! Definately will be watching TITANS now.
Is this for any Title? As I remember a report a month ago saying that Kozo would be fighting for a Title at the up-coming TITANS event.

I believe it is for a title, though I didn`t get the chance to read which one as I was on my way somewhere else when I dropped in just to check.
I just checked and found this by JWP on Blitz
The fight will be for the WBC world Muay Thai title at 70kg and hopefully I will be the first Aussies to bring one of these belts back to Australia. From what I am told the belt is the same as the WBC world boxing titles ones, the green one. I am very excited about being given this chance and really want to do well. I have the Max first on the 20th of July then a month later will fight for the WBC belt. If I can win both K-1 and WBC belts I will be one very happy Queenslander.

Will they allow Elbows in this? I mean this is a "Muay Thai" title... not the watered down "Thaiboxing" we're used to.

Kozo has a great Muay Thai resume, but I gotta go with JWP on this one. He has great power in his hands and Kozo has trouble with guys that have good hands. I mean Buakaw doesn't have good hands but when he went to them he won. I think that JWP will Knock him out.

I like Kozo, but he's taken too much damage at this point in his career. He can't really take a good punch anymore. I think JWP's hands will be too much for Kozo, but of course, Kozo is still a dangerous fighter.

I hate this fight as I love watching them both. I do think JWP will take this one though.
Are you guys sure it is full MT rules? The last titans event was not.

I am quite sure this is the first ever WBC Muaythai world championship bout and they have stated that they follow the sports authority of Thailand (FULL rules).
Hopefully it WILL be.

Hopefully it WILL be.
There's a Rajadamnern title match on the same card, go figure.

Already read it, in fact when it was officially announced there was no mention of WBC involvement which lead me to believe that it would just be a standard fight. Thanks for the news, anyway.
I don't know, you're just trying to one-up me aren't you? :( English is not my first language I think the "go figure" part was a bit much but I usually notice stuff like that the second or third time. And I'm from OSAKA, that's an excuse right? ;P
