On paper this appears cut and dry....though it may not be
We have according to http://www.sanspo.com/fight/top/f200411/f2004120103.html
Kaoklai
21 years old
180cm
79kg
5 fights ( in K-1 )
base is MT
Mo
31 years old
185cm
127kg
27 fights
base is Boxing
Taller and almost 115lb heavier. That weight difference would be illegal in some orgs.

this match will prove once an for all that k-1 is better than k-1 max. too bad 65% of last year's crowd will have other plans besides going to the grand prix.
kaoklai is playing with fire fighting these kinds of matches. mo is not slow.

You are right...he is suprisingly light on his feet for a big guy....and reportedly coming in about 22lb less than usual.
Did you hear his PKW interview?

I still think Kaoklai can beat him on points.
But like the stats show, a guy like him has no business in the ring with HWs. While on paper it may look exciting and interesting for the casual fan it will be either a boring dec win for Kao or a KO for Mo with the chance of serious damage for Kao (which I don't want to see either).

maybe Kaoklai can beat Mo on points, maybe not:
kicks are counted more than punchces, but Mo can do more damage with his heavy hands - so if Kaoklai wins it will be boring fight - in HW everybody wants to see big guys "punching and kicking each other very hard" :)

I still remember when that guy said that in the pbp :D
Im not sure what to say really, I mean Kaoklai lasted with Bernardo whos not a bad boxer himself and who is in better shape than Mo. We will see, but i am still going to be rational and pick Mo to win it, by KO presumably.

they are not fighting in savate. k-1 scoring is different.
i hope you meant that kicks cause more impact than punches thus the more damage you cause the closer you are to victory. or something to that effect.
