If anyone else was at the event please help me fill the results in. I'll update this post when I get the official results.

11. -60kg male Jesse Palanto (FIN) Vs. Niklas Karlsson

Muaythai Prestige Fight (no IFMA-protection, with elbow protectors)
13. -67kg male Tommi Karttunen (FIN) Vs. Pethmanee Bass (SWE)
Tommi Karttunen by KO R3.

I thought this was a good amateur event that showed us that the quality of nordic fighters is quite high. The finnish fighters impressed me a lot, must be because of the SISU.

Saku Kaipia Vs. Frank Hoffstetter was a great fight, and in my opinion really really close, so I can understand why it went to split decision. We'll see what happens with the protest.

The superfight was nice, a bit slow paced in the beginning and I would like to have seen it end a bit later, but Karttunen did a great job, especially considering that he had fought 4 rounds earlier the same day.

I would say that "SISU" is something like guts. In USA they say, that some fighter has guts, what ever happens in the fight, he goes on... But of course, SISU is something much more powerful.

In Finland sisu has lots of in common with so called "spirit of the winter war". Finns know what it is like to fight as a underdog.
