At this very moment, Eurosport is airing Fight Club. They are showing some super fights that they haven't broadcasted yet (Williams vs. Aerts etc.). Today Ernesto Hoost is commentating together with Fred Royers. They had some very interesting comments during the Williams - Aerts Fight.
While you could hear Gene Fields yelling at Carter, both Fred Royers and Hoost said that Carter should get another trainer because - putting it nicely - this one is far from anyone who should be a coach for a k-1 fighter. They said that it would be best for Carter to get a Dutch, or at least a foreign trainer who knows anything about kickboxing/mt. After the call for the extra round Hoost and Royers agreed that these must be the same fucked up judges that were responsible for the other horrible decisions in k-1, they even called them the Stevie Wonder and Ray charles team, lol :D.

But to come back to my original point. I think they were right about Carter better getting another trainer because it really made sense to me when they commented on it while you could hear Carters Trainer spouting out some nonsense like "Do it, Carter", "Yeah that's it" and "No, No, No, Carter". How can anybody make sense out of such half-assed pointers. What do you guys think?

I think your on to something. Clearly Carter has gotten as far as he has thanks to the team he is with. But he won Belogio on raw ability in 2003 and we should be seeing some kind of improvement. If the team doesn't want to feel left out maybe they should all go to Holland or Thailand and pick up a few things. So I wouldn't say to break up the team as much as I would say to find more training techniques and better fight time coaching from another trainer.
