It will be a 70 Kg tournament held under special kickboxing rules, meaning elbows will be prohibited. 8 fighters in total; 2 South Koreans, 1 Chinese, 1 Thai, 1 Japanese and 3 European. The Japanese representative will be Yuya Yamamoto. Yamamoto's last fight in South Korea was in December of 2002 against Lim Chi Bin. Prize money will be 30 million won (about three million yen) for the winner, second place will be 10 million won (about one million yen) and for third place 7 million won (about 700,000 yen).
There will be some other Japanese participation in the form of a female fight (T.B.A.) scheduled at 55 Kg and Convoy Yamashita will fight a South Korean opponent at heavyweight (85 Kg).
