I mean he's undisputed champion his weight class, having both stadium titles. He should probably change his name to Anuwat KOsamrit by the way he's been finishing his fights.

So why aren't people making a big deal about this guy?

Just wondering

He's the two time MT Sportswriters fighter of the year. Has the best hands in MT P4P and currently has three championships (Lumpini, Rajademnern and Omnoi) People who know about him know he is the man. What do you mean about people not making a big deal out of him?

I'm not the real hard core MT-fan, so Anuwat is stranger to me, despite his titles. He must be great, if he has both Stadium belts.
I just haven't seen his fights. Has he fought against any farangs? Thais has a difficult names and those names are hard to remember.

You can find some of his fights at subfighter.com in the Muay Thai section. You should check him out becasue he is rediculas. He has no equals at his weight. It like watching a young Tyson, he knocks everybody out. He also goes against tradition. Instead of the usual slow first round he comes at his opponent and knocks him out. If he is unpopular to many people its because he fights at 122 which puts him out of contention to fight the 160 lbs we are familier with.

That aside, the man is awesome.

Anuwat Profile (http://www.kaewsamrit.com/fighters/anuwat.html)
yep unfortunately he fights at too low a weight for K-1 MAX etc...
he is a real special fighter though, unlike most Thai's he started out in the sport late, at age 14.He won hisfirst Ratchadamnern title after only 37 fights and 7 fights later won his second

Since you train with him, do you mind telling us what weight Anuwat walks around at?

wellhefights between 54 and 57 kilos but walks around about 61-62 kilos. I remember when he fought Sanchernglek a little while back and had to drop a lot of weight, he had put on 7 kilos from the 6 am morning weigh in by 5 in the afternoon!

In Anuwats profile there is some pics, where he is training. It looks like almost funny when little guy is sparring with 20 oz. twins gloves.
