Before anyone complains Bobby is being disrespectful with the Mike cutout....he is a comedian that is supposed to have a screw loose. Thats what is expected of him.

Some background. Boby has been training at ‚f‚q‚`‚a‚`‚j‚` about 6 hours a day with Kikuta. He has also been training stand up and tonight did a round or two sparring, and training with Musashi. Musashi saod after the fight ( and before bernardo was announced ) that Bobby`s stand up lacks a little in technique, but more than makes up for it with power and agression. Everyone Bobby has fought has noted how unusually powerful he is.

And he busted Royce wide open about 6 months ago....

I dont like this... Mike's career is already shaky. If he wins here he proves very little... if he loses...

I think he is being set up to some extent. He seems to have no info on Bobby at all, and he has the K-1 "name" many oldtimers know about as hugely dangerous. His mma experience is limited to one terrible fight against Takada that went to a draw, so I expect the powers that be are expecting him to be hesitant/counter fight which only really puts Bobby is KTFO danger if he stands.....which he wont.

His scalp would make Bobby look god-like, while if Bernardo wins he`ll be the one that KTFO a comedian.....

It's kind of sad to see a former star go down like that. Bernardo doesn't really deserve that imo. They seem to try and milk every little bit of popularity Mike still has.
Isn't Big Cat with Steve's as well? I hope they can teach Mike some basics and he can KO this Bobby character and prevent any embarassment.

Tom is not with Steve really I think....though Gary is. Gary is no doubt training for the GP now though, and I`m not sure if they`ll go the SA after that.

I really hope someone helps him prepare though, and I hope someone lets him know Bobby doesn`t appear to be the joke he is on TV. He does have some decent skills. Enough to beat several blackbelt judoka in judo and earn his blackbelt in record time. Enough to throw Kikuta around. Enough to beat the junoir sumo champ under sumo rules. Enough for Musashi to say after their sparring that "it got kinda serious mid round as he is so agressive and powerful"

I`d not be surprised if he has some background the program are covering up....from their viewers and MAYBE from K-1.

Either way, the guy has been training at GRABAKA now for the past 10 months or so......thats a lot of MMA training for someone with so much seemingly natural ability...

Ah OK, since Tom was doing K-1 and has been cornering Gary I thought he worked out with the guys. Hopefully he can pull some strings and get some quality instructors/sparring partners.
And I hope Mike takes him seriously. Otherwise, with that amount of grappling at Grabaka and probably with Kikuta himself I guess he could seriously find himself in a place of hurt underneath a comedian that's pounding away on him.

Once again it really saddens me that Mike's stock has fallen so low. I know it's NYE and all but this just doesn't feel right at all.

I hope there's enough time after the GP for Gary and Tom to somehow give Mike a hand with MMA. There is no decent or notable MMA instructor in SA that I know of thats of World Class quality.

He better hope he doesn't catch a right hand from Mike. Maybe that will make him (Bobby) more tentative as well. If he fucks up on a takedown or something, he could eat that vicious right hook.
