At least it looks like he can throw a kick which is more than I can say for Mavrick, Shaka Zulu and some other questionable opponents over the years.

you are delusional. Mavrick has the best highkicks in the business. didnt you see his trunks? KICKBOXING. so OBVIOUSLY he is highly trained in the arts of kicking.

That's actually similar to the way I high kick. It's kind of awkward looking, but when I first started I wasn't very flexible, so in order to kick higher I would turn my hip over more than usual. I still kick like that today, and it actually helps me because it's hard to gauge where the kick is going; legs, body, or head.
