But when you consider there were only 4 "names" it wasn`t bad either.

14.1% at the high and just squeeking in a double digit 10.4% average

Well... Is that surprising, considering the event was aired in Japan in the middle of the night?

The K-1 has been sending mixed messages to the fans for a while now. The numbers are starting to show the textbook response. Mark my words, they'll get worse not better for a few years.

This has nothing to do with economics. It is executives making bad decisions pure and simple.

I would say that K-1 Scandinavia was a quite "real" event, but I understand your point.

Apart from the superfights - Abidi vs LeBanner was easily the best fight of the night, also it was funny to see Kakuda knock Mavrick out with one punch - I was quite dissappointed with the event. The line-up consisted of - in my opinion - boring fighters to watch, except of course Ignashov (although he fucked up again). I don't know what it was but all the fights looked so... I don't know... dull. Fights that ended in knock-outs looked to have ended because of fatigue/lack of heart rather than serious impact. Good thing about this tournament was that it was a non-freak event.
