Anyone Know Naoful Benazzouz?

Ironleg Naoful looked very good in the ring and I have to admit he does resemble Samir Benazouzz. A younger brother?

No info from me, but he did look great. I wasn`t too impressed with him giving up in the finals, but I guess it hurt more than it looked.

He finished Aziz quicker than most can.

Noufal fought in the Italy GP many years ago (the first one that Gur won).

He was pitted against Franz Haller and dropped him within the first 20 secs via a kick to the head. He dropped Haller again in the fight with another kick to the head. But Haller turned it around and KOed Noufal Bennazouz in the 3rd I think. Haller went on to get beaten up by Gur in the semis.

Noufal was scheduled to fight Jan on some K-1 Japan card a year or two ago"

I just read on the K-1 Paris site that he trains out of Golden Glory Gym. Nice for Bas Boon to have both Benazzouz and Schilt in the final.

Is he Samir's brother?

I assume he is Samirs brother or relation.

Peter Aerts first trained Muay Thai/Kickboxing at a gym/dojo run by Makki Benazzouz. Maybe he is the father of both Samir and Noufal? Runs in the family I guess.

I was talking about him with Didier Le Borgne (Cyril's trainer) thursday, when I knew he would replace Chalid "Die Fraust".
Didier told me he knew him quite well actually, and that he was someone very good in the trainings but that had more difficulties with the live fights. Dealing with pressure maybe? Anyway I found him very good and focused last friday.
Didier told me that Naoful is the only one who ever knocked Cyril in training when they used to train together, and it was with a highkick.
Probably the same kind that landed on Khattou...
