Buscape is out of Bushido due to pneumonia and now Milton Viera is facing MACH Sakurai.

Before:

Hayato "MACH" Sakurai vs. Liuz Buscape
Milton Vieira vs. Ryuki Ueyama

Now:
Hayato "MACH" Sakurai vs. Milton Vieira

This left DSE/Pride looking for fighters to face Ryuki Ueyama and Tatsuya Kawajiri on short notice.

Still Should Be A Good Fight, But Its Gonna Be Tougher For Vieira Now. Vieira Is Normally A Lightweight So Cutting Weight Shouldn't Be A Problem For Him.

Damned....more bad news. I was really looking forward to seeing Mach mix it up with Buscape.

Vieira fight out of BTT and i believe he`s bigger than MACH.

Disappointing news indeed. I just hope Buscape recovers fast.

That wouldn't be a first for Mach in Pride :).

This definitely makes the card a little worse but I'm still anxious to see how MACH is going to do after his new training (kind of like watching DBZ or Naruto).

I've seen Vieira fight a few times in M-1. Looked to me like a good, but not great BJJ guy, limited striking. But he wasn't with BTT then, so maybe he's improved. But Sakurai shouldn't have any problems with him. Buscape would have been a much better fight.

Slightly ironic that Ryuki Ueyama doesn't have an opponent now after he left Cage Rage scrambling for a replacement when he pulled out of his fight with Lee Murray with just 2 weeks to go.

Sad to see Buscape out, as I really enjoy watching his fights. Would have been great to see how he would do against Mach.

That said, this will still be, by far, the best Bushido card to date.

Heard that Ueyama is injured, no loss.

Murray is fighting Takase now.

Sucks for Sakurai now he's fighting a bigger opponent. But then again, Buscape was a big LW who I think had fought at WW before. Seems like another guy that's gonna try the takedown and ground control routine with Sakurai, at least he seems to be in good shape for this one.

Don't mind that Ueyama is out, he is boring and just not a very good fighter.

Hopefully they find an opponent for Kawajiri (not Ueyama)...

Murray is fighting Takase now.

That is a much better fight than Murray vs. Ueyama.

You gotta be kiddin' me. Buscape really impressed me in his last fight against Azeredo, and I was looking forward to see him back in action :(

Here's some of the release DSE/USA sent me.
Two fighters have been forced to drop out of PRIDE FIGHTING?S BUSHIDO VOLUME 7 event. Brazilian Top Team's Luis "Buscape" Firminho, who was set to face Hayato "Mach" Sakurai, has a severe pneumonia and will be unable to fight. Ryuki Ueyama of Japan, who was set to face Milton Vieira, has contracted phlegmon in his left knee and will not recover in time for the event.

As Sakurai and Vieira are similar in weight, both fighters will now fight each other.

Murray is fighting Takase now.

Different show.

Murray-Ueyama was set for Cage Rage 11 on April 30th when Murray couldn't get his visa for UFC 52 earlier that month.

Murray-Takase is at Cage Rage 12 on July 2nd.

What weight will Sakurai/Viera be at? Still at lw? I'm dying to see Sakurai at that weight...

That is a real shame. I was REALLY looking forward to it.
