I know, I just read about that too. Glad to see Tank win one for a change. I was also surprised to see Kimo won. The guy he fought was bigger than Sapp! If Royster spent a year or so training in JJ, wow!

Royster also said (before the fight) that he wants to fight in K-1 vs Bob Sapp. He said he knew his groundwork wasn't that great and he preferred to stand and trade.

Now let's see, Tank won about an hour ago. I wonder if he's celebrating at the bar yet? :)

KO'd Cabbage, he's got good reason to party!!

Probably because of the embarrassment in the fight against Ximu in which he lost for 'forfeit'. He also had several 'personal problems' to solve during these years. He was supposed to fight earlier this year in WEC, but due to issues regarding medical clearances (California boxing commission), he missed it.

dunno bout tank/kimo, but id like to see a rubber match between cabbage and tank. although i suppose cabbage didnt really win as such the first time.

Cabbage won the first fight because Tank quit. He was asked whether he could see (because of the blood) and he said "No". Which meant the fight was stopped. Nobody ever replies "no" to that question since it means the fight will be stopped. Therefore, Abbott quit. And I'm not exactly pleased he beat Cabbage in the rematch either since this will just revive all the nonsense about him being a "legend", a "huge draw" etc. etc.

Cabbage has been really awful for a while now but I still expected him to batter Tank. As for Tank-Kimo II - if it happens, Kimo by quick submission again.

From what I've read I think we should wait until all the facts come out before making any judgements (not saying that anyone is, just a general statement). I really doubt that Penn was out looking to beat up a policeman or something...

Of course there also some other versions of what happened. It seems BJ was attacked first by the police officer. But anyway, bad news to BJ and his fans.

That's the same info ROTR guys told me, though his lawyer Mr. Green says he's going to issue a press release in a few days. Let's see what happens.
