yeah it is kinda depressing, shooto is were these guys shined, and then they go to the bigleagues :( i dunno, its depressing, im kinda happy rumina stays with shooto so long. :)

He`s not leaving Shooto. He just want to face top opponent in Pride but he says Shooto is still his home.

oh, good ^_^; it'd just be like a bad blow for shooto to lose another champion to pride. I understand $$ is an issue, but still :(

It's good that Kawajiri is getting a chance to fight on such a big stage. I'm glad he's still gonna stay in Shooto since Shooto is the best and Kawajiri is more or less their number 1 figher right now.
I think the Pride rules will help Kawajiri like they helped Gomi once he hurts someone he'll have a lot of weapons to finish them.
I'm looking forward to this card more than any other card in the near future. I don't think the average internet fan realizes how big Gomi-Azeredo is, Gomi is a great fighter and Azeredo could be his toughest test, if Gomi beats Azeredo then he can't be accused of not beating top opposition (which I don't really agree with anyway). Still, the fight is less than 20 days away and I don't see anyone talking about it on Sherdog , etc. all I see is thousands of posts whining about Mirko/Fedor...
With Gomi, and Kid now pretty popular, Shooto is making a big impression on mainstream MMA in Japan. If Kawajiri wins a couple of fights he might be able to bring more interest/money to Shooto since he will probably be repping them (unlike other fighters who are no longer with Shooto).
