Cage Rage 11 weigh-in just finished. A few random notes:
Official programmes hav an ad for Cage rage 12 on July 2nd at Wembley Conference Centre with 3 fights listed. They are:
Sol Gilbert v. Mark Weir for the vacant Cage Rage British Middleweight title. Should be an excellent fight but Gilbert is still clearly bothered by a neck injury he sustained from that horrendous KO by Curtis Stout.
Travis Lutter v. Matt Ewin Ewin is Weir's top student and a very good all-round fighter.
Gerald strebendt v. Vitor Shaolin Ribeiro in what could be one of the best submission based/technical MMA matches in CR history.
Ian Freeman's boys Hassan Muridi and Abdul Mohamed both in fantastic shape.
Anderson Silva looked very confident. Jorge Rivera looking relaxed too and both are at exactly the same weight.
Mark Epstein and Evangelista Cyborg should be a real war. Epstein has a definite weight advantage (of 2 and half kilos), particularly as Cyborg weighed in fully clothed. Epstein reckons his chin is better but expects the first man to land a really big shot to win.
