as long as there are no idiots, it's not a bad thing if it remains 'small'. Quality before quantity and stupidity I guess. allthough it's a lot more quiet than other forums I visit, I still enjoy it here. Hope it stays that way, so congratulations and thanks everyone who is helping to keep the quality of discussions and posts high.

Which off course wouldn't have happened if some guy could find some spare time around his 2 jobs to bring us the news, keep a calender and doing the pbp's :)

Partially.

The history is pretty simple. The owners simply wanted to have a place where real fans could actually discuss events/fights/fighters without all the drama that tends to follow "opinion" online.

Pretty much what Jofeljoh! posted, was what we were aiming for and so far so good.

But when was the site founded? You and Satan have been around since may, while the moderators have been around since october

We took a loooooooong time getting things set up as we wanted them.

I don't remember the exact details but I believe we started talking about it in about Feb of last year, got the software in May and the addy we wanted around the same time or a month or so later.......had a heap of help from guys like El with layout ideas and graphics (some of his are used on the main page right now), fiddled, fiddled, and fiddled more until we were satisfied with how things looked, and then began by asking the posters that had caught our eye at various sites if they were interested in modding, got rules in place, and finally went public at the end of October.

We wanted a layout that wasn't too cluttered, or too teenager-ish....something mature to attract the mature posters. The idea was never to become some huge site, but to have a place where a group of knowledgeable people could discuss things.

Tits actually saw me on the cover of "aussie boy toy" magazine and said "We need him. We need a guy like that."

So like the pied-piper I was led away from home by his siren song.
