LOL, maybe he'll tap him out with a figure four leglock.
Should be a VERY entertaining fight. I'm not exactly a Baroni fan and love the Punk so can't wait for this one. Great addition to an already great looking show.

If the Phil Baroni of old comes to fight, then Minowa is in for a really tough fight. Now if the Mark Laimon style Baroni we've seen in his last two fights shows up it's a Minowa night.
And yes I know Phil so I'm being honest about this.

It'll be interesting to see how Baroni adapts to the Pride rules...
And if he'll be conscious after the 1st round or have gassed beyond all belief...

Almost completely agree with you. Baroni's Laimon inspired 'hang on and hope' on the ground and more cautious style of fighting simply doesn't suit him. Like I said earlier I'm a big fan of the Punk and want to see him win a very exciting fight. And Baroni is much more exciting when he swings and really goes for it. Either way I'd back Minowa but am really hoping we see Baroni really go for it. Particularly as a crowd pleasing performance in Pride can be much more important than winning or losing.
I do wonder how Baroni's cardio will hold up to the 10 minute long first round. Also, will we see the big, bodybuilder type Baroni, the much smaller version who fought tanner in their remtach or the Baroni from the Sell fight (somewhere inbetween)?

Bushido is really stepping it up. I like it.
Gomi/Azeredo will be a great fight and, of course, the "real prowrestler" Minowa is always something to look forward to! Maeda will own Bennett. I can't wait for that. Sakurai will have a tough fight, but I pick him by decision. Chonan... by TKO over Elvis.

Shaping Up To Be A Excellent Card, Looks Like Pride Is Sticking To What They Said And Bushido Is Basiclly Gonna For Lighter Weight Fighters From Now On. I'm Really Looking Forward To Gomi vs. Azeredo and Sakurai vs. Buscape, Both Of Those Fights Should Be Wars.

Baroni will be playing the Randleman role of "barbarian".
Minowa can easily fill the other half of the bargain and become TEH DRAGON SLAYA!!!!!111 that he was born to be,
