Most of you have already seen the announced Bushido fights, I assume and as you can see Sakurai is facing Buscape at 73 Kg. I think this is the best possible move he could make. Sakurai/Gomi at 73 Kg and Chonan/Minowa at 83 Kg, interesting is it not?
Current line-up:
Takanori Gomi vs. Luiz Azeredo
Hayato "Mach" Sakurai vs. Luiz Buscape
Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Phil Baroni
Ryo Chonan vs. Nino "Elvis" Schembri
Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett vs. Yoshiro Maeda
No Kawajiri...

i too am suprised about kawajiri's absence. his name has been thrown around heavily lately for this bushido card.
and mach cutting to lightweight is the best thing he can do for his career right now imo. he looks old and small compared to most middleweights/welterweights nowadays.

Mach certainly appears a lot fitter at 73kg. Hopefully it`ll be a nice shot in the arm career-wise.

That's good news. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

hmmmm. i just hope he doesn't cut so much that he loses all his strength... buscape is no slouch if he's indeed fighting him. Oh well, go mach!
thanks for the confirmation kamatari.

I hope they still put Kawajiri on....But the card looks very exciting so far...I want to see all of the fights especially Minowa, Chonan, and Gomi.

would it really be good for shooto having their new champion jump ship to pride? :S
wasn't kawajiri fighting on some shooto card next month anyways?
edit - my bad, he just fought like 4 days ago.. fuk i hope that event gets released.
http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?fighterid=1326 he ko'd jani lax.
^^;
so yeah, if he only just fought, i wouldn't expect him to be fighting on the bush 7 card... i'd rather he stays with shooto personally. Career wise = more money in pride, but shooto has too many ship jumpers =/ its depressing.
