Is it me or do the Rua brothers seem to have difficulty with their weights? Ninja thought the way to put on some mass for last years HWGP was to eat a few dozen burgers and Shogun was the only one not to weigh-in first time. Its not like he's the biggest guy in the tournament so am surprised he had to cut weight at the last minute.
Henderson seems a little lighter than I thought he'd be but other than that, no real surprises.

LOL, I keep reading about how "Shogun's a Middleweight (185), he's way to small to fight good LHWs..." (Sherdog, UG, etc), and then he can't even make weight the first time. He will probably be over 215 in the ring, the guy is not a Middleweight.

It seems like everyone is counting out Shogun overthere. Everyone over there just repeats each other's arguements: "Shogun only fought cans, and got owned by Babalu, etc". I don't understand how everyone over there is saying that Salaverry is great (even before the Riggs fight), but the guy that KOed him in the first round (Gono) is a can. Also, the Babalu fight was competitive until the guillotine. There is more to MMA then just looking at records, Shogun is a dangerous opponent for anyone. For example, it is obvious that Shogun is a better striker than Ninja.

That said, Shogun could have a tough time against Rampage (If he fights to his ability unlike the Ninja fight), we don't know much about Shogun's chin, I heard he was dropped and hurt by Cyborg (who does hit hard altough he is wild with his punches). Shoguns wrestling might not be good enough, and he could end up eating some good GNP (probably what Rampage does best), his BJJ skills are pretty good, but I don't really see him subbing Rampage. If they spend some time standing up, Shogun has a decent chance for a KO, if he stuns Rampage, he is very dangerous with soccer kicks and stomps so it will be hard for Rampage to recover. Also after the brutal KO against Silva, Rampage may be more succeptible to the KO now (see Fernando Vargas after the Trinidad fight) and he might still be gunshy (ex the fight against Ninja).

Basically, Rampage has a slight edge here, but he is going against a dangerous opponent, and this has the potential to be the best fight on the card...

If you go by photos, then Randleman wins. Once the weigh in photos are seen by the odds makers, the odds tend to change.

I also find it odd Shogun is the only one that was too big.

But I find it similarly odd that with their bodies, Nakamura and Randleman are exactly the same weight.
