Post some footage of yourself, man. Would be cool to see the low-kicks you speak of. When's your amatuer debut?

If you wanna be the next Masato, you better hurry. Masato already had 2 first round KO's by the time he was your age and was fighting professionally already.

How long have you been training for?

I think I fought in a USKBA but it might have been an IKF event. It was about a year ago though. As far as rules depends on the event/sanctionning body and all that stuff. You can probably wear whatever you want.

I actually do make my amateur debut soon, but It's not with USKBA

It's kind of Standing MMA. Headgear, Shinpads, 4oz Gloves, throws allowed, knees and elbows to the body only, 2 second clinch rule.

It's called "Evolved Fighting" and the purpose of it is to legalize MMA in PA. It's on 6/17 and I've been training for it. I might not have Masato's chin though, I've been getting flash knockdowns from my 200lb sparring partners (I'm only 140).

Awesome, man. Do you own a DV? Film some footage of you and post it. Let's see this K-1 MAX GP champ in the making =)

My neighbor does and will probably let me borrow it. I just have to get the okay from my trainer to let me film myself training.

I'm really not with a qualified Muay Thai or Kickboxing instructor. I train with a submission fighting and former Japanese Jiu Jitsu guy who I've been training with for 5 years.

Next year, I'll be in Philly, and will DEFINITELY take up Boxing and Muay Thai. And of course, Judo and BJJ on the side.

I'm sure your instructor will. If he doesn't, he's not a good instructor. He should encourage you guys to film yourself to improve technique, etc. I expect footage of you by the end of the week =)

Keep up the hardwork and good luck with your fights.

I can probably get pics. I'll see if I can film myself. My trainer often has issues with it because he knows I'll just use the footage to show off to girls, so he'll try to make me look really bad

Yeah, it kinda is, except no submissions.

As a matter of fact, I may actually wear Spandex shorts (didn't wanna buy long tights). I'll also have the bow on the hip, just like the one guy I saw a pic of :p
