What good, new movies have you watched lately? I just saw Million Dollar Baby, and I loved every second of it. Definitely one of the better ones I`ve seen. I`m thinking about watching that new one with Kevin Bacon also, has anyone seen it?

Be Cool was fun. Vince Vaughn's wigger impression is great. Christinal Milian is hot. John Travolta is too cool. Worth a rental at least.

Sin City is great if you ever loved comics and old school detective movies...

Violent as hell though but considering this is a MMA / Martial Arts forum, i don't think there are too many scheemish people.

New movie.

Just came out in the theatres in North America about three weeks ago.

Bruce Willia and Jessica Alba are in it.

If you've ever read the Sin City comics, it's a great translation.

One of my all time favourites is 'My Cousin Vinny'. Joe Pesci and Marisa (forgot last name) crack me up =). Just got my hands on a copy of COnstantine. Will let you know if it is good =)

Has anyone seen The Ring 2? The first one scared the shit out of me, so I don`t know If I even want to see the second. I`ve heard that it`s not as scary though.

And has anyone seen a movie called "Shine"? It`s not a new one, It``s about an Australian pianist, David Helfgott, kinda based on reality. It`s sooo good, but I can`t find it on dvd anywhere.

I`ve seen the Japanese version of both. The first is shit-your-pants scary....second was a let down.

I'm a big fan of everything Ring (not so much the American remakes - but, much love to Naomi Watts!) and have been involved in a disgustingly high number of gruelling discussions over the novels, manga and movies.

Anyway, I loved Ring 2 and BOYO doesn't know what he's talking about. Both movies scared the crap out of my friends and myself. When you grow up with stories that involve vengeful female spirits it's quite terrifying especially when people forget to spoil the ending for you. It was like she stepped into our living room. I was young and stupid, so it's not a big deal.

Ring 0 made me sad however. And I'm not going to lie, I don't like to read when I don't have to or don't want to but I went through the novels anyway and probably will do again in the near future.

Ring Virus (Korean remake) remains my favourite, the character Eun Suh is the most faithful appearance of the Sadako character. Bae Doo-na carried the movie on her shoulders and I personally don't think it's all that bad as the critics seem to think.

Shine = brilliant movie.

If you're looking for a good pretty fluffy movie with a fairly good commentary on the christian right, i'd recommend Saved.

It's pretty good.

Million Dollar Baby is a fantastic movie, I really recommend seeing it if you haven't seen it yet. I even have friends who hate boxing who loved the movie.

I saw La Haine (Hate) again recently, a movie that I think those of you who like City of God would really like, even though it is quite different.
