I`m a bit...kinda,...very drunk at the moment, so let me get back to you on the whole thing.

The gist though, JWP is headlining a show on the Gold Coast in Australia ( where he lives ) and K-1 are sending a couple of their japanese fighters for the card as well.

Will be on the 18th of December.

Ryuji Goto's fight will be hybrid rules (like KID vs. Yasuhiro), it seems like Mr. Yellow Card Tatsufumi Tomihira will fight Carnage (Nathan Corbett). JWP will fight Sakmongkol (if only it happened 6 + years ago).

Why the hybrid rules for Goto? Is his opponent an MMA fighter? That's the only way I can imagine it since those rules would probably only the crutch for that guy. I mean Goto is well accomplished enough as a standup striker. Perhaps by hybrid rules they really mean Shootboxing?

It says Ian is "XFC 70kg Champion, Shooto Fighter Gracie Jiu Jitsu"

Yeah.

As mentioned before in my post it'll look like KID vs. Yasuhiro.

Any info on this guy? I know the name from somewhere, but can`t put a face to it.

MA MW division champion, MA is a small org, but with a Shooto like reputation. He's fought in S-1 (made it to the semi-finals) and in K-1 MAX as well where he lost to Arslan Magomedov so you might know him from there. He beat Takashi Ohno (MAX mainstay) on the Ichigeki show. Capable fighter, but Choppa's on a roll and I expect him to win.

He's just fantastic, and I think all the attention he gets is deserved. Will be cheering for him aswel, I have big hopes for him in K1 Max. By the way, if you guys don't know it yet, JWP has added a few videos on his official site, including this new one against Joe Louie Muangsarin at Lumpinee - incredible skill by Parr, really worth a check (notice the insane elbow attacks from both fighters!). ;)
