Hope Badr will take this fight serious and train hard cause Turner is no walkover, he has the tools to beat Badr.

But i'll be rooting for Badr Hari offcourse!!

Sorry, Badr is young and has a lot of time to develop. I'll be rooting for Turner again, seems he had a nice fight with Venetiaan and is hotter than ever to really go for his maximun. It should be a good fight!

A loss here would perhaps motivate Badr, but not hurt his future. A loss for Gary would be slightly worse.

Gary is performing well recently....and I hope he wins this one. Badr could come back from a loss with a bigger fire within and help him improve quite a bit.

I have to disagree with you Knuckle. The majority seem to think Hari will win this by a mile, if he lost it would be a surprise, a pleasant one but not what is expected. A loss for Hari would look bad because so many people rate him so high. Gary has had some good form recently and a win would look fantastic, if he lost he has not lost any reputation in a fight he is not expected to win.

I understad Gary is the under-dog so to speak, but I`m thinking more at points in their career. Gary is 34 going on 35. That is getting up there and to make it to Japan he needs to keep winning.

Badr is still very young, so while a loss here might be s shock, in the overall scheme of his future career, it`ll just be a blemish.

Make sense?

Gotcha. It's good to also how Gary has improved with age - gives those of us who aren't teenagers anymore hope :)

I think Gary is tough enough to take some beating and Badr will hopefully be all over the place. It is difficult to say who will win but I would cheer for them both.

Id also like to see Badr fight someone like Michael Mcdonald. There around the same size and it would kinda be like an upcomer vs old vetran type of thing. Its to early for Badr to fight a match like this I think, but Hes fighting Leko in June so we will see how he does against that next level. And maybe then we can see a match happen with Mcdonald. That would be one great match full of speed.

Turner fight draw with mc donald and leko is much better so I think this is the best Badr can do.

I read on sherdog that someone read at mixfight.nl that Hari won a narrow decision by points, I don't know anything more.

Damn it! I was cheering heavily for Turner here... Hopefully it wasn't part of a "homeboy decision mania" kind of thign, and the fight was fair and enjoyable for both fighters.

I was not cheering heavily but It's kind of a same thing to me. We'll hear about the decision later prolly. I guess that Gary will post his side of the story pretty soon on Sherdog.

Yes, if you look in the other MAN issues, you'll also find more fights from Gary AND a good number of quality fights from various events. I really hope MAN Magazine will continue to cover them, as they provide access to a lot of lesser known events thourghout the year that in other case would just pass without any meadia coverage at all.

I think Hari is still kind of overated, he looked terrible in the fight with Turner, and I dont think he has to much power. Hell need to get ALOT bigger if hes going to be an elite fighter one day.
