A disturbing computer problem (help me)

My program folder has started to open itself everytime I start up windows XP, I thought this only occured in wind.98 :confused: Can someone tell me how to fix this? I guess it has something to do with the register, atleast that was the case in 98. Any help is appreciated.

Try this, go to My Computer; then your hard drive; documents and settings; there are a couple of folders in here. Go to each folder, one at a time, then to the folder "start menu", then "Programs", then go to the startup folder then delete the folder that starts up automatically.
