Hermes got arrested last night!!

Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight competitor, Hermes Franca, was arrested last night by the Jupiter Police Department in Jupiter, Fla for a DUI offense as confirmed to MMAWeekly.com by members of the police force on Thursday morning.

Authorities could not release much more information than what was listed on their official police blotter confirming Franca's arrest.

According to the report, Franca was arrested at 2:38am by an officer who suspected the fighter was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

It was also listed that this was Franca's first offense.

While officials of the Jupiter Police Department could confirm the arrest, they had no information about his detainment or release from being held from the arrest.

Good lord Mia. You haven't posted here in over two months, but you come back to post this thread, which you have also posted at BK, Sherdog, and probably ever other message board you are on. I know you love swinging from the nuts of every fighter who is even remotely associated from ATT, but this is a bit much. Are people from ATT really that petty that they take joy out of this news?

DUIs are pretty common in Florida, and although they should never be taken lightly, it isn't like I am completely innocent or would be truthful if I said I NEVER drove after drinking. It happens, unfortunately. The boozing leads to poor decision making. Hopefully he learns his lesson and doesn't pay too dearly for it. The worst thing about DUIs or DWIs (not sure what exactly the difference is) is that they are incredibly expensive.
