Siyar Bahadurzada's exuberant cheering after he had won was a bit uncalled for...

WVR must be absolutely delighted that they got him in place of Roger. Aside from his gimmick, he looked genuinely good.

During the broadcast, Gono read out an email he received from Chonan, Lawal's teammate at Team Quest, and it was pretty funny. It went like, "He was so scared in the boxing sparring session that he would try to knee or tackle his sparring partner. That wasn't even such a long time ago, and that's why I'm slightly worried. It really impressed me that he was doing all that MMA training while he had a lot more important thing coming, the Olympic qualification tournament. But then, he lost the final and didn't make it to the Olympics, and still blame the ref for the loss to this day. He thinks he won that fight. I know why he lost it, though... if he wasn't the type of guy who eats pieces of fried chicken behind the trainer's back when he's gassed, I'm sure he would've won it. ;)"

i wondered about that. he didn't even pretend to look sympathetic to cyborg. instead we get that strange display like he just won a hard fought war. not classy. could there have been bad blood between them? not that it justifies being a jerk like that, given your opponent just popped his elbow.
