Very interesting article. Long but give you good insight in the K-1 world.
"Although there are a few pieces of circumstantial evidence to show that corruption is a serious possibility, the other side of the coin is error, or incompetence. The judges may or may not have had a clue. Looking at the scores and the scoring criteria handed out at the December 3rd rules meeting, it is crystal clear that the judges were not on the same page as the K-1 and the athletes. In fact, their scores were so far off the mark that it would appear as if they wanted to get caught."
