SENGOKU gave out a press release about Roger, and it seems that they are absolutely pissed off. They say they requested the official medical certificate, CT scan and all. Roger's doctor ignored the request and proposed a phone meeting instead, and then never picked up the phone at the scheduled time. He never called back either. Eventually WVR received an email from him, describing what's wrong with Roger. WVR was not satisfied with that, and requested the official papers again. They haven't received any of them. They asked Roger to at least come to Japan to do the medical check, and he refused, saying he didn't want any "stress of the flight" and couldn't sleep because of the injury.

That's what the press release says. They are considering punishing him in some way, primarily because Roger's doctor never sent them the official medical certificate that they requested a while ago, and that makes nothing official as far as they are concerned.

I can't help but lean toward WVR on this without even hearing the story from Roger's side. Such a shady way to do business is instantly punishable, if you ask me. Especially if you consider how much WVR paid to have him, and the fact that Roger's still nothing in MMA. That's my initial reaction. Kind of deja vu too, Gracie-wise. Hope it's just some mis-communication, though I doubt it is.

If true that Rogers camp has delivered no valid data to Sengoku, no wonder they're royally pissed.
