Anyone else excited to see Martin Kampmann make his comeback in the UFC? He's been on the bench for over a year and he'll be fighting Jorge Rivera this weekend.

Personally I think Kampmann is a beast and the best undersized MW there is. I've never seen him have a boring fight. Look to him to have a stellar 2008.

I am excited too. He has been on the shelf too much in the last year and I can't wait to see him fight Rivera. Should be a good one considering Rivera's last fight he looked tough.

I cant wait for this fight and Rivera is no joke in the stand up game, but his chin will probably be the key of the fight, or Kapman's great subs...

Im picking kampmann by submission. they will bang for a bit, Rivera will probably rock him, then get slammed to the ground. kampmann has a really slick ground game.

Incredibly slick given he started his fighting career as a Muay Thai stylist.

thats whats good about him. hes a muay thai guy that doesnt neccesarily have to use muay thai to win his fights.

His fight with Drew McFedries told us a lot about his fighting style. He took some BOMBS from Drew and was clearly losing the fight in that realm, so he got a takedown and pulled off a SICK submission.

Others would have gone to some of those hits he took from Drew. This little guy has a strong chin too.

Kampmann's a quality fighter, I'm really looking forward to seeing him back in what's now a very competitive division.

Kampmann really impresses me and I think Rivera is being used as gatekeeper/tune up guy.

Kampmann looks like he could almost Squeeze into 170, but I am not sure that 170 is a nice place to be...can he stay on his feet?

Kampmann wants to stay at 185 even if he is smaller. wrestler happy 170 might not be so good of an option for him...

I think Anderson, Okami, and Franklin are just too big for him.

Yeah those guys are big but at 170 he'll have guys like Koschek and Fitch putting 15 minutes of man love on him.

He was supposed to be bulking up while injured. Hopefully he's been able to keep in shape and make that work without losing the speed that's helped him out thus far.

Now to see if he's kept up his speed and 'gameness' in the meantime. Rivera's a good test for that.

if Rivera wins im just gonna say Rivera next 185 champ to try and look cool :D and if he loses, its rediculous enough to be taken as a joke.

Just start saying it now then! I'm sure he'll be in line right after Loiseau.
