Some clippings:

And will you fight in the absolute?

This year I will not take my chances in the absolute.

Does your being Rickson's son put more pressure on you, now you are a black belt?

Being Rickson's son always put more pressure on me, but I'm Kron, I can only do my best. I cannot do what my father would do.

"As for my performance, I think that, like always, if I submit all my opponents I'll be satisfied. But I know it will be tough."

He looks optimistic there. Nice.

He bleeds GJJ, rather than BJJ.

Submission over position?

Basics. Position for submission. Rather than position for points and then possibly a submission.

He's like Roger and Rickson. Perfect mastery of the basics. Most white and blue belts know the majority of what Kron and Roger will use in a match, yet there's world champion black belts being repeatedly tapped by it.

It's like Rickson Gracie. In a seminar he lined up the black belts and began teaching them a simple sweep to armbar, starting from guard. He did it to every black belt, despite them knowing it was all he would do. The secret? He's so damn good at the technique, he could pull it off despite their resistance.

Hehe, more excited about what he does at black belt. If Otavia can do it, Kron can.
