No thread OR discussion on these fucking awesome title fights that took place? yall r wack. fucking awesome fights happened between Miguel Torres and Yoshiro Maeda for the 135 lb strap. back and fourth fight with both people busting each other up and even double heel hooks applied by both fighters with nobody tapping... wow.

Torres won after a doc stoppage after rd3 where Maeda's eye shut.

Faber vs Pulver for the 145 strap went all 5 rounds... Faber winning all rounds but not easily by any means. Faber did just enough to win each round in a fight that saw alot of standup from both fighters. Faber showed really good standup and good power, even dropping Jens.

Faber wins a decision after 5 rounds to keep his belt.

ill find all the other results and post them later.

Discuss.

I'm not really impressed with Faber after this fight. He should have been able to beat Pulver within a few rounds. He had his chances but did not capitalize on them.

Awesome night of fights. Torres is a top five fighter in the world of his back not to mention a pound for pound killer. He was awesome and that was the fight of the year. Faber was so fast and he landed so much against Pulver. That was a great fight and alot of fun. I really wish I could see Faber vs Kid.

I had a sereal night tonight, because the guy who I fought in my first fight was Chuck Grisby. He weighed 245 when we were supposed to fight at 205. I did really well on my feet, but got submitted trying to take him down. His corner said his stand up is his weekness so I had them worried when I landed low kicks. I persued K-1 and he kept doing MMA and he was on TV tonight. To see him get merked like that was one of the most sereal experiences of my life.

It is a little bothersome that this awesome card didn't get the responces that the elite fc card did, but sunday is a weird day for MMA. I couldn't even got to the computer till now.

The last three cards on the card were great fights!

The first televised fight (with Razor Rob) was pretty bad. Nice KO in the 2nd fight but I pretty much have zero interest in WEC's abysmal LHW division.

3 Fantastic televised fights. WEC continues to entertain and impress. Faber's quickness, strength and conditioning are uncanny. He landed some big right hands too. Props to Jens for taking a lot of punishment. Torres-Maeda is another FOTYC for sure. Torres is as exciting as they come. With those two champions and Carlos Condit defending the WW Title in 2 months @ next WEC live event, this is a promotion that you do not want to miss. What a crowd in Sacramento as well. That was fighter love for sure.

I thought the crowd was good because it was basically Sacremento vs the world. On top of that good fights make good crowds, its the tactical fights that make you wonder about the strength of the audience. I didn't blame Rob for the first fight being so boring, because it wasn't his fault, he came forward and made the fight while the black ninja fought going backwards.

he came forward and made the fight.

That's being pretty generous imo

The two title fights were great. Very nice work with the jab from Torres in the third after Maeda started to slow. Pulver looked better than I thought he would, he landed some good shots but didn't have the speed or stamina to put meaningful combos together.

He came forward and to get punched and kicked. I didnt even think he won one round and I was fairly suprised when I heard the judges decision.
Anyway, Torres vs. Maeda was a brilliant match. Non stop action, I found myself watching at the clock and thought "that was just 1, 2 etc. minutes". I could watch these guys fight every day.
