Lesnar by total destruction. That James Toney boxing shit isn't going to work for Herring.

Lesnar is going to have a tough time with Heath. Heath has been in with the best and IMO will give Lesnar all he can handle.

I think there is a chance Lesnar could go 0-2 in the UFC and then hang it up... but who knows.

That's a good matchup but risky for the ZUFFA guys. Herring could withstand Brocks GnP flurry and come back for the victory...we've seen that before. Heath may not be a very athletic guy but he is TOUGH and Brock better have more than a takedown and flurry of wild punches under his belt.

Heath by TKO rd 3.

Heath has a good punch too. It's gonna be very interesting.

It's a better matchup than the one against Coleman. I think this should be more competitive.

Too bad for Heath though that he's not getting one that actually dares to stand up with him ;)...

I know, UFC doesn't cut no breaks do they. Serious though this is a huge step up from Mark Coleman. I pick Herring for this match. He is no stepping stone, and Lesnar is going to have to fight the perfect fight to beat him.

Herring has more skill and experience, but he does not have teh power to finish Lesner on the feet and he has shown me nothing to believe that he will submit him. I actually think this is a win for Brock who should hold top control for 15minutes and get the win.

I would be interested to hear Lesnar's thoughts on the change.
I think it is a risky fight, but still winnable for him.

Apparently new UFC fighters do not get to fight cans
when they come in with this much hype and a large $$ sign up.

I don't think the UFC wants to be that risky. If a can beats Lesnar so early in his Career it could end it. I know Mir wasn't the best fighter at the time, and got kinda lucky on the knee lock but he is a past HW Champ in the UFC and that doesn't make the lost on Lesnar's record look so bad.

I think this is going to be an interesting fight. This is way better than him fighting Coleman. I could actually see Brock being able to win this.

He is no stepping stone

LOL, have you ever heard of this one old promotion called Pride FC?

I say Lesnar by GnP stoppage. Maybe as early as round 1.

I'm thinking along very similar lines, though I still wonder about Brock's acing and stamina.

Jake O'Brien, who is not as polished a wrestler as Brock and nowhere near the same size of a guy, basically beat Herring solely on the strength of his wrestling. I have no reason to believe Brock can't do the same.

That is true but judging by Lesnar fighting Mir, Lesnar isn't going to be a LnP guy like O'Brien. O'Brien just wanted to hold on for dear life and feel safe...Lesnar is probably going to try and kill him and everything will open up.

I'm taking Lesnar for this one. Herring does not have the ground skills to get Lesnar in a submission. Cheick Kongo almost beat him on the ground for crying out loud

Not true. JOB may not have been active with GnP, but he was constantly improving position, moving to side control, mount, and taking Herring's back several times.

this is a bad fight for Lesnar. If he loses this fight I think he's out of the UFC.

I'm gonna go with Heath by TKO in the second round.

Ok....I honestly like this matchup for the simple fact that it will be a good first round. I can see Herring taking Lesnar to either a decision or a third round sub because Lesnar will have ran out of gas by the 2nd round. As some have typed above, I don't think Herring can overcome Lesnar's power to finish him.

I do see this as a must win for both fighters though. Obviously for Lesnar, if he gets a second straight loss he will put himself in a bad postion. herring, despite his recent wins, needs to win to solidify ghis status in the HW division.

But with that said, I'm not super-psyched for this one at all.
