On ZTV, April 1st at 21:00, the show "Rallarsving" starts. You'll meet some fighters like Remy Bonjasky, Peter Aerts, and Ernesto Hoost. Looks like they get beat up by some of those guys in training, too. The text for the show says the guys visit "K-1 in Holland, glima and judo on Iceland, kendo, shootfighting and shorinjikempo in Japan, cagefight and self-defense in the US, thaiboxing in Thailand, grappling and wrestling in Finland, boxing in England, and a number of martial arts fights in Sweden over the 10 shows".

Musse Hassevall is a decent grappler, did pretty well in this years ADCC-trials if i remember correctly. My best memory if him is when he was bodyslammed and destroyed by Jani at grapplers paradise 2001.

I´m watching it now, I like it. Nice training footage and the guys are somewhat funny. Maybe too exaggerated at times.

I've seen the episode now, I think it was great!

Okej. Deal.
I still have mixed feelings about the show. The High Chaparall-format... I dont know. I like that show, but I rather have a more informative show about martial arts. More training, less interviewing, joking around etc.

i must say, that I do not understand a word of swedish, but this show is far out funny. i loved seeing rumina/the blonde guy/uematsu/other guy play that electric shock game in episode 3. omfg that was funny, he's like "i-te!!!!!!!! (ouch)" when he gets shocked, and the swe wins. lol.
good stuff.

I also think a more informative show had suited me better. But my girl that arent internested in martial arts at all find it very funny so I'm glad it is the way it is. Attracts the general public instead of just hardcore martial arts fans

I really don't care about the general public. I want what is best suited for me.

Specialized would be nice, but it's general TV for the general public so they can sell ads ...

Yeah, I know it's for the general public, but I'm not the general public, hence not interested in such shows.

Bas Rutten, Randy Couture, Duane Ludwig, and Joe Riggs were on the show. They sparred standup and on the mat with Rutten and Ludwig, and standup only with Riggs ... can't remember if they sparred with Couture? Anyway, it was a good episode!
